Day 1 – Tbilisi City & Cultural Highlights Begin in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital of contrasts. Visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba), Metekhi Church, and take the cable car to Narikala Fortress for panoramic city views. Walk through the Abanotubani sulfur bath district, cross the Bridge of Peace, and explore Rustaveli Avenue — the heart of the city’s art and culture. End the day with a funicular ride to Mtatsminda Park for sunset views over Tbilisi. Activities: Walking tour, sightseeing, cable car, funicular ride, photography. Day 2 – Mtskheta & Sabaduri Forest Scenic Drive Travel to Mtskheta, one of Georgia’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Jvari Monastery, standing above the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of Georgia’s most sacred landmarks. Continue the journey into the serene Sabaduri Forest, famous for its misty roads and peaceful scenery — a photographer’s paradise, especially in autumn and winter. Enjoy a relaxing forest walk and drive back through Mtskheta before overnighting in Tbilisi or continuing toward the mountains. Day 3 – Gudauri & Kazbegi Mountain Adventure Head north on the Georgian Military Highway, passing the Zhinvali Reservoir and Ananuri Fortress. Continue to Gudauri, where you can enjoy panoramic views from the Friendship Monument. Cross the Jvari Pass (2,300 m) and arrive in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), a small mountain town nestled below Mount Kazbek (5,047 m). Take a 4x4 vehicle up to the Gergeti Trinity Church, Georgia’s most iconic viewpoint. Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
